Chinabuzz Project Limited Terms and Conditions of Business

1.  The Member hereby agrees with and accepts the following terms and conditions which shall apply for the duration of the Member’s membership of Chinabuzz.

2.  Chinabuzz will provide to the Member the services chosen by the Member and described in the Chinabuzz marketing flyer for the appropriate region (the flyer) which is available on chinabuzz.com. 


3. The Member agrees to pay the membership fee in full within thirty days of being notified of the acceptance of its application for membership. This payment is non-refundable, unless Chinabuzz is unable to run the programme, in which case a full refund will be issued within thirty days. Chinabuzz will not begin providing services until payment has been received.

Intellectual Property 

4.  The Member grants Chinabuzz permission to use imagery, videos, logos and other copy from the Member, including content published on the Member’s social media and website, for the purpose of promoting the Member’s business through the channels mentioned in the flyer. 

5.  Any information, documents or intellectual property belonging to Chinabuzz and shared with the Member shall not in any circumstances be shared with any other person or organisation without the prior written consent of Chinabuzz. This includes but is not limited to monthly reports, product information and any other proprietary information. The Member shall use its best endeavours to ensure compliance with this requirement.

Delivery of Services 

6.  Chinabuzz will do all in its power to deliver the services as described in the flyer. Should Chinabuzz be unable to deliver any advertised service owing to unforeseen circumstances, Chinabuzz will inform the Member and issue appropriate compensation which will be at the discretion of Chinabuzz and which may take the form of credit for additional or equivalent services. 

7.  The Member is responsible for ensuring information is provided promptly to Chinabuzz when requested to enable efficient delivery of services. Chinabuzz will not be responsible for any consequences arising from a delay on the part of the Member to pass on requested information. 

8. Chinabuzz may terminate membership at their absolute discretion. In that event, Chinabuzz may at their absolute discretion make a partial refund of the membership fee. 

Additional Services 

9.  If the Member and Chinabuzz should subsequently agree to the provision of additional services, such additional services shall be provided subject to these terms and conditions and any amendment thereof. 

Data Protection 

10.  Chinabuzz hereby undertakes that business information provided by the Member will be treated as private and confidential and will be stored securely with limited access.

Liability and Disclaimers 

11.  Chinabuzz shall not have any liability in respect of the conduct of third parties, including the content of websites or social media. 


12.  The headings in these terms and conditions are inserted for convenience only and shall not affect their construction or interpretation.

13. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).

Membership Referral Programme 

14. Each Member will receive a unique referral code which they can pass on to other businesses. If a business uses the code to purchase membership, the introducing Member will receive a referral bonus as credit for future Chinabuzz services or membership, and the new Member will receive a discount on their initial payment. There is no limit to the number of businesses that an introducing Member may refer. The referral bonus for the introducing Member will be 10% of the nett amount excluding VAT and deposits of the new Member’s initial payment. Bonuses will be confirmed 30 days after the new Member’s initial payment is received. Any bonuses accumulated will expire on termination of the introducing Member’s membership. 

15. New Members joining using a referral code will receive a 5% discount off the cost of their first annual or monthly subscription as applicable excluding VAT and deposits as shown on chinabuzz.com. New Members may not use more than one referral code at the same time and a referral code may be used only once by a Member, for the duration of membership, plus the following 12 months.
